This week my community celebrates Faribault Heritage Days. The event kicked off on Wednesday and continues through the weekend. From a Mayors Reception to concerts BINGO car and magic shows cardboard boat and soap box races fishing and medallion hunt contests city-wide garage and farmers market sales and much moreincluding the Grand Parade at 615 pm.

An opening ceremony Wednesday evening in Central Park kicked off the 2021 Heritage Days celebration in Faribault followed by games for children.
So when it came time for Fridays Heritage Days Car Cruise the Faribault resident hopped into his black 55 Chevy the one with the custom flames he painted himself and headed to Faribault. Saturdays Heritage Days parade brought hundreds to Faribaults streets likely making it the citys largest gathering since the pandemic began. Parade remains a Heritage Days.
